AQUAFIL Engineering announces the successful start-up of a Polyester Polycondensation Plant Revamp in Germany. The revamping was introduced to simplify the polycondensation, eliminate steam consumption and to reduce the amount of waste water produced in the former plant design by approx. 80%. This modernisation of the existing plant has eased the plant operation, economics and maintenance and has made the plant more environmentally friendly.

AQUAFIL Engineering is glad to inform that the next Direct Film Casting (DFC®) line for Polyester is successfully started with a record length of approx. 70 meter. The equipment of DFC® Technology (up to film line pump) was completely designed and delivered by AQUAFIL Engineering.
