Polyamide

Polyamide polymers are characterized by the functional group (R-NH-CO-R) in their main chain like PA6 (Polyamide 6, made out of Caprolactam) and PA6.6 (Polyamide 6.6, made out of Hexamethylene diamine and Adipic acid). Polyamide products are used today in a wide range of application like textiles, automotive, carpets and sportswear due to their different properties.

In the last years AQUAFIL Engineering has made new developments in the area of polyamide production which make the plants more flexible, economic and ecological.
